Following the publication of a legal notice 200 of 2017, on the 4th August 2017, the following Feed-in Tariffs came into effect:
Feed-in Tariff for solar photovoltaic systems that benefit from a residential grant
A Feed-in Tariff of 16.5c for every kWh sold to Enemalta, for six years, from solar photovoltaic installations that benefit from a grant and are allocated a Feed-in Tariff until the 29th December 2017. Total capacity that may be allocated this Feed-in Tariff is 4.2MWp.
Feed-in Tariff for solar photovoltaic systems that do not benefit from any grant
A Feed-in Tariff of 15.5c for every kWh sold to Enemalta, for 20 years, from solar photovoltaic installations with a capacity of less than 40kWp. Total capacity that may be allocated this Feed-in Tariff is 4.2MWp.
A Feed-in Tariff of 14.5c for every kWh sold to Enemalta, for 20 years, from solar photovoltaic installations with a capacity of 40kWp or more but not exceeding 1MWp. Total capacity that may be allocated this Feed-in Tariff is 8MWp.
These Feed-in Tariffs apply only for new solar photovoltaic installations that do not benefit from any grant and that are allocated a Feed-in Tariff until the 29th December 2017
